Hello! My Name is Heather and I am a Photographer from Greenville, North Carolina! Three years ago my interest in photography as a vocation became a reality when I received my first digital SLR camera.  Before that time I carried around a film camera like an extra arm.  I began classes at Lenoir Community College two years ago to not only further develop my interest in photography, but to learn the technical skill for my future vocation.

Before the thought of making portraits a vocation, I was head over heels in love with landscape photography.  While I still love to make landscapes I am finding a new joy in photographing people.  When making portraits I find that I have two main goals to accomplish.   My main goal for each photo session is for my subjects to have fun.  By creating a relaxed and friendly environment my clients feel at ease, which allows their true personality to shine through.  My main goals for the images from each photo session are to maintain accurate and consistent exposure, and obtain the highest quality for my clients.  With these two goals combined I hope to create a sense of trust and craft to make each individual photo session remain for years not only in memories but in a tangible way.
